Any one, Out there...
Please! Help me.

In VB6, is there any ActiveX to fetch the CD Multisession Information. i.e I need to find the Session Number as Nero Shows in Tree View.

May be, You can suggest Nero Burn Active X. But, In that I don't know how to get those info. If you know please, help me.

You can even suggest me any other alternative for this insteaded of using Active X.

Please! Some one help me.

For years now, I have been looking for a replacement of Nero's Multimounter (The CD's multisession DLL) because you need to have the hole Nero Burning application in order for it to work because of license issues. And I was unsuccessful. So I tried to find what registry keys/files the multimounter needed to work without the full application installed but I could not make any progress. I believe that in order to use Nero's APIs, you need (aside of another license) the Nero SDK, you can read more about it in http://www.nero.com/en/SDK_API.html. If anyone has more information about any free alternative, I'm also interested in it.

No, I just liked the picture and I think that the Eagle is too over used as an icon, so I wanted to be a bit original.

Can any one tell me, What is the Difference made in a CD which we Burn through CD to CD Copy Mode.

That is. I saw that when I burn a CD through CD to CD Copy mode, I found that new CD gets the Exact Serial Number, Multisession Infos, Files with Same Creation date of the Orginal CD.

Here, I need to Trace out at least any one Difference between the Source and Destination Disc using VB.

Give me an Idea.....

In theory, a CD to CD copy is what is called 1:1 copy so the original an the copy are only different on the CDs cover. A one on one copy is an exact mirror of the original, that is way a copy of a copyright protected CD is a working copy. Hope you understand my explanation, I will try to add some links to documentation about this. You can try to find about this by your own in the homepage of the CD Burning program 'Alcohol 120%'

Yes, I know what multisession is. The trick is that there is no trick. Imagine that there is a trick that allows you to univocally identify an original CD, right? Then, music companies (at least the big ones) would have succeeded in their antipiracy crusade. But they hadn't, why? Simple: There is no way for a machine to recognize a 1:1 copy of a CD no matter the CD Copy protection implemented on it. The only way a machine would recognize that a CD is a copy, is to have eyes and see the disc's label on it. Sorry!

PS: What is the final idea of the software anyway? Do you work for a Music/Film company?
