Hello everyone..im newbie just wanna ask some question about my new task to develop remote agent.Actually remote agent same as remote control that can run in OS then can listen request from external controlling master.if master request to restart the remote agent restart.But must authenticate first.The task involve such as:

1) start/stop/restart service
2) shutdown/restart machine
3) kill application
4) launch application
5) install/uninstall application
6) display stats about hosts including memory, CPU, network, etc

- what i need to do first...hint please..

-any resources to guide me in completing this task?

-I want to use vb.net or vb6..it is the better choices for me?

-For mentor outside there,please guide me ya..
