Which language is better for game programming? Visual Basic 6 or Java? Could you give me some reasons and ways to compare both using a simple game like pacman or other?

neither of them are really that for games. If i was goign to make a game, i woudl go with vb cause i know it well, but java is probably more powerful. Vb isn't really powerful enough, and java isn't easy, but it works. even though it's easy to get into graphics, it's hard to learn. If you don't know java, stick with vb .
