Is there a way in MS SQL server where we can put break point in stored procedure like in vb.

Not that I know of but to get help on SQL server you should choose a site that has a SQL server forum like http://www.tek-tips.com

If you are using MS Visual Studio, you can debug T-SQL code.

Eralper
ASP.NET, SQL Server & Windows 7

From Query Analyzer you can right click on your stored procedure and select debug. You can then step through the procedure.
