I have been workinig for a company for around 6 months now, and on my CV I had put VB and .NET programming as I had done the relevant courses and attained the qualifications. My job role was not as a developer but as an administrator of another application. I have never used my VB or .NET skills in a business environment. The company began to develop a web application which would be used to calculate rebates for its customers, however the lead developer has left the company pretty much as soon as the project began and now it has fallen to me to complete it. Unfortunately, when asked in the interview about my developer skills, I played it up and said that I was fairly competent at it. Obviously, it has backfired and now I need to develop this application. I have tried to rekindle my knowledge, but it appears I have forgotten all my coding. I understand the technology behind ASP.NET, but cannot remember any VB.NET - I was never any good to begin with! Anyway, I need to have this application up and running by the end of January at the absolute latest, and what I am asking for is if there is anyone who can help me, step-by-step, to build this application? I would be extremely grateful and would accept any input about this. I cannot get out of this situation, the web application MUST be built, by me, and soon.

I have created an underlying database structure in SQL and imported the relationships into my Visual Studio project. I have added the relevant controls to the page. All I need know is the ability for them to interact with each other, read from and write to the database, and generate certain things. The application itself is fairly basic, the only problem is there are several pages which need to be able to do certain things. Again, I don't think it is difficult, but I haven't got the knowledge to be able to complete the coding.

Is there anyone out there who would be willing to help me? I would be happy to offer some financial "reward" at the end, if it is successfull, as I am very desperate to complete this application.
