I find myself unknowingly rereading many posts because the subject headers don't change, from bold font to default, after I've read a topic. Is there a preference setting that I've missed? Also, I'm curious how the God's & Guru's put their code in that cool formatted box when they post code? When ever I do it, it looks like crap!

Thanks.

Chris

I assume that is a browser setting not a forum setting. Do you have cookies enabled on your machine?

I never disabled them, and they must be enabled or I would have to log in every time I visited the forum.

Thanks.

Mark, I'm using IE but I found the problem. As we say in my profession: "The problem is a short between my ears"!

Thanks for you're response. Please accept my apology for taking your time and for posting this in the General section, when it should have been posted here. Two "Duuuh's" in a row!

Mark's Syntax.zip is a great help for displaying the correct layout for VB code on here, its a pity we can't use it on M2k. I've been using it for a very long time. Full credit to Mark. Wink Wink Wink

Keith

I've been programming with VB for 17 years. Started with VB4 16bit Pro, VB5 Pro, VB6 Pro/Enterprise and now VB3 Pro. But I'm no expert, I'm still learning.

Hi Keith & thanks for the tip. I downloaded 'Syntax.zip' and it works great! I wonder why Mark didn't apprize me of the existence of his zip file? It must be true that some Gods like to play with Mortals like a cat plays with a mouse, but in the end the cat always kills the mouse! w00t
