a1vb allows only 80x80 images for avatars, whereas your original is 100x100.  the scripting here has its own method of resize images that are too large.  resize the original to 80x80 before uploading it.  this way it won't run through the resizer which only keeps the first frame of animated gif's.

in case you aren't able to resize animate gif's, try this one for your avatar:

It's weird cuz I can't add the animated .GIF as avatar, everytime I do it stops animate. ^_^
