Sounds to me like your Network is out of date I'd have a serious word with your Technician(s) Is there anything that doesn't need upgrading. What type of office is it? Is the app your making for work or are you just playing with VB? If it's not work related I doubt if they'll upgrade it for you unless its required for other users.

Try upgrading to IE6. It'll only take a couple of minutes and it has a number of security fixes to ie5.

Probably because you're using mozilla or netscape. These forums are optimized for IE. I recommend you use IE when using these forums.
