Here's my take on the topic. I think they're plenty of female programmers out there, but unlike men, they regard it as a paycheck only. The majority of them are not having a love afair with their coding.

Im in the IT department in the University of Cincinnati, and there is ONE female. She is about fifteen years older than the rest of us.

It's a biased opinion, and sorry, but it needs responding to.

Someone that skates by in class by cheating will only fail themselves in their profession if that profession demands something from them that they don't know, that they were hired TO KNOW.

So bang out the creative home-brew ideas and worry about yourself and be prepared for a merciless world.

If someone breaks the ethics, report them. You're only helping the world, future world, by doing so.

And don't think for a minute that these instructors don't know who is handing in their own work opposed to stealing from anothers.

They do know.

Nataly sorry 2 tell u that, im studying computer enginnering and i have more than 20 girls in my class who well become computer eng's in few months but sorry they r all socks when doctors ask us 2 make VB, Java, C++ .....etc projects they all steal it from the internet until now ii dont know anyone of them who wrote her own VB programs

but tell u something i think gurlz are very clever and also have lot more time than us so they can b expert programmers in half the time
