    Hi,

So far, i just bought my second vb book like last night called Visual Basic 6 Complete. After reading the first 50 pages, i relized this book was a little over my head. It would be a whole lot better if the book explained the code well. I would consider myself a beginner, but i am pretty familiar with the visual basic 6 IDE and know some of the code basics. Does anyone know of any good vb books for me?

I don't know about beginners books but I found that the internet has the most up to date material and do things that are not covered in books. Also, taking apart a program can teach you more that a book can. I am not down on books because I have several and use them every once in a while.

Some sites that I found on google using "visual basic" tutorials came up with these that look pretty good for a beginner.

http://cuinl.tripod.com/tutorials.htm

http://www.visualbasicbooks.com/courses.html also has a list of books.

I have found the Visual Basic 6 Super Bible to be very useful.

ISBN # 0-672-31413-4

I don't know if you are looking for one to create games or just as a general reference.  This one is a general reference but there is a game one by the same publisher (SAMS)
