If you adjust the slider in Form1 to max does that change the Windows speaker Form1 to max? I installed Visual Basic 2008 Express 12 months ago on my desktop and Visual Basic 2010 Express on my laptop. I don't find them easy to use the only common things between VB6 and VB.Net are the VB keywords. To me the idea of developing something is to iron out bugs in the old version and add better features. To me they haven't done much. I really which M$ would have named it VB7 as there is loads of confusion when they are saying I use VB, yes which VB. Its a popular misconception that M$ put out and users believe. If it newer it must be better, no it isn't. You only have to look at the operating systems as a perfect example. I'm staying with VB6.

I've been programming with VB for 17 years. Started with VB4 16bit Pro, VB5 Pro, VB6 Pro/Enterprise and now VB3 Pro. But I'm no expert, I'm still learning.
