I like the new Forums, and I understand that you probably wanna take a rest from getting thema all set up, but i was just gonna say(if you have time), should make a small post in the annoucments forum, and should call it "how to make a proper post", that way, if a user is new, we dont have to put up with all this 1 line stuff. and then we could refer to it. but i understand if you would like to wait for that

I'm a senior member. Good to see the mods so active. I can't say thank you enough you have brightened up my day.

i don't think that posts need to be checked by a moderator before a users post can be actually posted because this going to take up a lot of the moderators time and can discourage new users which are needed.

Maybe you can try a few other methods such as create a way for users to report posts. Create moderators to moderate individual forums to share the workload.

anyways, i like the look of the new forum. especially the better load times. and the ability to jump to different sections.

Mark,

It's only the first three member posts that are checked before posting. We did this to prevent spamming.

I agree It's also a good way to monitor whats going on and whether a new user is wanting to Format/Disable Ctrl alt Del and all that.

Glad to see you being so active Brian

This new forum does look nice.  I haven't played around with any of the fancy stuff yet -- that will have to wait for a day when I have more free time.

Proper posting rules can help us stay professional -- which most of us have been all along, anyway.

I'm especially glad to have the separate areas.  There will be some that I never visit, some that I frequently visit.

Rules rules rules.... Who needs rules? I guess most people do... lol It's a shame so many people don't seem to have any common sense or manners these days.
