Well I would thing VB, read my sig. I don't know of anything you can make in VB.Net that you can't make in VB.

VB only needs the basic runtime files installed for a basic app. These are installed by default on WinNT systems. Where as VB.Net needs a .Net Framework installing which is a LOT bigger. Wink

I've been programming with VB for 17 years. Started with VB4 16bit Pro, VB5 Pro, VB6 Pro/Enterprise and now VB3 Pro. But I'm no expert, I'm still learning.

That's like asking which car is better a 1998 BMW or a 2008 BMW. Both are good rides, but the 2008 has a newer hip look and feel with new technology like hooking an iphone or ipod to it's sound system. In my experience, clients usually expect the latest look and feel. Compare Outlook 97 with Outlook 2007...
