Brian and Peter -

That Ask.com flash ad is a pain.  It takes up a region of space that is imposed over a large portion of the website, thus creating an invisble object that stands between the page and the cursor.  During it's overdone animation sequence of a saw cutting off the Jeeves part of the site name, you can't click on anything in the upper half of the page.  Perhaps it has something to do with the z-index.  Regardless, it has got to go!

KZ, thanks for letting me know. I located and blocked it. I also have it setup to block all similar "floating" type ads from appearing in the future.

Guys.......ads are coming back! You guys were doing so well! But now there's these full screen ads that say the page I requested is loading and to "click here" to skip the ad. But I'm sure you guys are on it. Good work.

Well, there were a couple, but the one I was talking about went to a whole new HTML source and said I would be redirected to the page I requested, which is here. But yeah, shanks, I think it was flash. What really grinds my gears though are those transluscent ads that cover most of the page and you can't avoid them by scrolling down or anything so you have no choice but to click the close button on it, letting who knows how much spyware fun free on my computer until I run a sweep.

But why should I care? I'm in a comp lab right now....hee hee....Cool

Nicely done admins, as always.

They are random, aren't they? Some times they come and some times they don't! I have disabled flash to save precious bandwidth (I only get 400 MB per month Sad )

Still I get this flash ads (not in this site)! No content is displayed but a rectangle on whole page (usually in Yahoo! Mail) gets displayed which doesn't contain any close buttons or as such (as they are part of flash). The only way out is to refresh the page!

400MB!?!, I gotta say im impressed.

Time is an illusion perpetuated by the manufacturers of space.
