Is it possible to automate Windows XP events?  I want to automate the events that run on startup, shutdown, logon, logoff, and workstation lock.

How can this be done via VB 6/.Net?

Or...

Are there registry keys where something can be placed to activate on the before-mentioned events?

KZS-

I have found the following links. Even thought it does not answer your question specifically, it throws light on windows shutdown.
