hi, i'm sure everyones noticed just how much i post links to the apiguide, so i'll stick it here. please note i'm in no way affiliated with this program!

anyway, whether you use api or not, download it and give it a little icon in your task bar. its worth it . it lists just about every win32 api available, along with info, examples, and requirements.

http://www.mentalis.org/agnet/apiguide.shtml

i'll make this sticky but if it shouldnt be then feel free to unsticky it. i wasnt too sure...

good thinking
so many people tend to ask stuff that requires an api, so we can just send them to this post, that or they should have there topic in this forum

A great Idea but I think people might also need explanations and guidance but like you said ric it is a good Idea to have it so we can link posts to it.

Yeah... I was trying to learn the API before but just got confused. What exactly can it be used for, and how?

istill APi can be used for practically everything. From Turning the PC OFF!!! to opening and closing the CD draw. And much much more. Go to the MSDN website and read about them.
