I have yet to see if can uplaod a zip file from firefox.
anybody do that yet, and does it work or give the unsupported mime type error message?

anyway, good job A1.

yeah, i get the same refresh thing. Only thing i can say that needs to be added is the moderator status to someone, or at least some sticky posts for guidelines, because recently there have been a lot of bs questions.

I spoke too soon.

I login with firefox, no problem, however it won't let me reply to any posts.

i login with IExplorer and the reply button brings me to the appropriate window to reply into.

seems to be some glitches.

I also liked it when posts that were done beyond the last day were not bold, but appeared in non bold link at right side of page (Last Post section)

now theyre all bold and it makes for having to read all links to see if someone responded within the day. not a biggie, but it helps.

Also, I noticed that email address is needed instead of username for login. firefox now wont auto fill for me. Also notice that IE wont do it either.

again, no biggie, but these no biggies are making it hard to think that an improvement was done.

I was just hoping that after such a long time to wait, it would be easier to use, not more difficult to get around.

lBooooze says, there needs to be a way to stop all these bs posts coming in here, especially the request to do whole projects.

so there seems to be some work needing done.

maybe wasnt ready to be put up yet.

just a thought.

could be a server problem too (another thought)

Hi pso,

I tried recreating the bugs you're encountering and this is what I found.

1. I'm getting the white box on the top left of the screen on certain pages while using Firefox.

2. I'm not having any problems replying to posts using Firefox 1.0.2. What version are you using? Please try again and let me know what error message, if any, you are getting.

3. To activate auto-login, you'll need to check the "Remember me" checkbox on the bottom left of the login page. Have you already done this?

4. I was able to edit my own post using IE. Please try again and let me know if you're still having a problem with this.

Thank you for letting us know about the new bugs. No matter how much testing we do, there's no substitute to going live and getting user feedback. I'm hopeful that with our members help we will resolve these issues very soon.

I havent had any problems logging in and what not. I thought we alwasy had to use our email to login. anyways, i havent tried uploading or editing yet, but everything seems to work fine for me, and it looks great too. but i also agree with pso on the bold text part. It is a little momre dificult to be picking new posts and stuff on the index page. anyways, cheersBigGrin

btw, can we expect to see a "rules" or "guidelines" sticky. If you're going to do anything else, thats what it should be.

Yes, I will have the forum guidelines as a pinned post by the end of the week.

Regarding the new posts, you can use the Forum key at the bottom of the page. All forums with new posts since your last visit will show a blue square with a small cross to the left of the forum name.

Brian,
it seems to have been isolated to last night, concerning the editing post problem.
my ISP server acted up (as usual), thats why it was happening with IE and firefox.

So, hey, it looks mighty fine Wink

good job.

I like it.
cya riound and I noticed a post got moved quickly (a vb6 post that belonged to vb.net).
So, seems more moderated.

i like that Wink
