I have two ideas:

2) by blocking activeX control of internet explorer

am right or wrong, please suggest me and give me some idea/hint/pice of code/article etc. to achive the purpose

Hello Shahzad,

What type of application you're exactly willing do to?

If you're making your own application the authenticates the user before letting him use the Iexplore.exe, you can handle this with a simple if statement.

Please give more details about the application you're making and the aim behind letting the user write a password before opening the Iexplore.exe

Regards.

You cannot achieve it either ways, neither by blocking iexplorer.exe nor by blocking activeX control.
