| | Dear All I have got a project which built with vb.net 2005.I face timeout expire problem when I fill datatable adapter .That table adapter is connected to SQL Server 2000 and it was constructed with three data table from database .So please help me to solve that problem. Thanks in advance

| Are you using Vista? If so start vb by right clicking on the program and select "Run as Administrator". I just started learning db and found this solved most of the problem I had.

| I would recommend running the query in your normal querying tool (sql management studio, enterprise manager, phppgadmin, etc..) to see how long it takes when run there
then make sure your timeout on your data adapter is at least as high as that.
