I'm doing VB code in the MS-Access. How is this? Is this the good practice for programming?

Thank you.

Hi,

This is one of the easiest methods of getting used to serious programming. However, you should note that using visual basic and access is only the beginning. You need to chart a course of action as follows:

1. Get familiar with VB and SQL Server as quickly as possible.

Develop an accounting software using Visual Basic

2. Get expertise on VB dot Net and SQL Server.

Database Programming using VB.Net and SQL Server

I've been programming with VB for 12 years. Started with VB4 16bit Pro, VB5 Pro, VB6 Pro/Enterprise and now VB3 Pro. But I'm no expert, I'm still learning.

VB programming is a little bit easy. But, in terms of databasing it needs a little bit of patience and understanding. The best way to practice VB is to go to the VB environment and try to create a program that you think you can. Bring with you your books and guides for your basis. If you have mastered it then try to proceed to a more difficult program. It includes the creating of database and SQL.

Nah ... It just gets tiresome dealing with the same old stuff when trying to have a (somewhat) intelligent programming discussion if any part of it involves VB or Access. It certainly doesn't upset me,
