Can you elaborate a bit more. Sound as in musical or sound as in good?

I've been programming with VB for 12 years. Started with VB4 16bit Pro, VB5 Pro, VB6 Pro/Enterprise and now VB3 Pro. But I'm no expert, I'm still learning.

So what sort of format is this software, just pictures and text? If so then you can use a database to store this info. If its music then I don't know you can store music in a database only its location, in which can get renamed or moved.

You write the location of the particular file in the database.

c:\music\your.mp3

c:\music\your.wav

c:\music\your.mid

But as I've said file locations can get changed or renamed.
