I wrote a program a few years back and have used it without any problems. The program stores everything entered to a Microsoft Database.

Yesterday when I tried to use the program it would not work and I was refered to a created Log stating "Cannot Load Control DB Grid; License not found.

How do I correct this problem?

Do you have VB6.0 installed on the computer? Or did you just copy the exe over? If you just copied the exe over, then you need to create an installable. If you have vb6.0 installed then your installation may be corrupt and you will need to reinstall vb.

Good Luck

I think I need to explain what is happening to clarify the problem. I have been using the program on this computer for several years. both with the created .exe and in the design form. The code is and has always been, on this computer as has the created .exe.

A few days ago I was going to add some changes to the program but it will not run. I tried creating the .exe file again but I get amessage stating "License for this component not found. You do not have an appropiate license to use this functionality in the design environment."

I do have VB6 installed.

Ahhh... Well it seems that you have used a component that was removed when you uninstalled another program... and perhaps the only way in which correct this is to install that other program once again...

Good Luck
